Guided by a university professor, a prominent researcher, and an expert in the field, students will study the mechanisms of infectious diseases, analyze how bacteria and viruses cause illness, and explore strategies for prevention and treatment. They will apply Koch’s Germ Theory to identify disease causation, learn to navigate scientific literature, and develop critical research skills.
By the end of the program, students will be guided to produce a 4,000+ word research paper suitable for submission to journals that accept high school research projects.
